In the process of cooling and solidification of stainless steel liquid, it is easy to produce porosity problems, which is due to the existence of liquid steel in the ingot, but also due to the porosity defects of liquid steel in the casting process. The following is the foundry manufacturers, analysis of the main reasons for the formation of pores:
01. The capacity of the pouring cup is too small, and the metal liquid forms a vortex into the air to produce pores.
02. Poor permeability of the paint or insufficient negative pressure, poor permeability of the filling sand, unable to discharge the gas and residue in the cavity in time, forming pores under the filling pressure.
03 Casting is too slow, and the pouring cup is not filled, so that the straight runner is exposed to the air, and the slag is inhaled to form a carrier hole.
04. Due to the unreasonable design of the pouring system, the filling speed of liquid metal is larger than the retreat rate of foam gasification and the gas emission rate, resulting in the gasification residue being trapped in the metal liquid at the filling front, forming black decomposition pores on the inner wall.
