Application of bead shell precision steel casting process.
In recent years, the application of precision casting process has developed very rapidly, from the initial construction machinery bucket teeth to the current valve heating and other general parts, auto parts, to tool hardware parts, to cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel and non-ferrous alloys, and then to the original sand, metal casting, precision casting and other fields. It has achieved good economic and social benefits.
From the casting process point of view, bead shell precision casting process has been widely used in the following three areas:
A. Partial replacement of lost wax precision casting process. Especially some castings with relatively simple shapes and some castings that require cores;
B. The original quartz sand shell casting occasions, the use of bead sand shell precision casting process, improve the process adaptability;
C. The original small steel cast produced by ordinary sand molding process is changed to a new bead sand shell precision casting process to improve casting quality, reduce sand consumption, and improve casting production efficiency.

As shown in the table above, compared with the traditional lost wax precision casting, the process is reduced by more than half, the production cycle is reduced by half under the same conditions, and according to some customer statistics, the labor cost is reduced by more than 60%.
The second is casting quality comparison.
Bead shell type precision casting process, using bead sand with excellent casting performance as coated sand, reasonable design in process design (selection and adjustment of metal shrinkage rate, reasonable setting of casting system, design of sand core combination form and coordination gap, design reasonable core shooting process), generally using finer particle size distribution, can obtain higher casting quality. According to the actual inspection of one of our customers, the accuracy of the bead sand shell has reached CT6 level in GB/T64146414, and the precision casting process of the bead sand shell has reached Ra12.5.
It is a photo of the casting after a shot blasting (G15 crawler shot blasting machine). In order to further improve the surface quality, we tested the shot blasting process of the casting in the roller. The filling is 20/30 mesh bead sand, the effect is obvious.
